I have to admit, I went to see it in the theater... and I loved it! And the ending left it open for a sequel, which I'll definitely see on the big screen!

Great review. I really enjoyed the movie. I even watched without subtitles so I have no clue about predator dialogue but I tracked every bit.

But I hope they don’t make a habit out of this. If Dek turns up again I hope he’s ripping spines from people like a proper Predator. Maybe he has an arc with one of us noble savages. But full on killer of men.

I imagine the glowing of swords, grappling lines, and bowstrings as a visual queue the metals are some manner of superconductor energized for out-of-this-world strength.

I wasn't a huge fan of Predator Badlands, but it had some entertainment value. However, the parallels you draw here are fascinating, hilarious, and further proof that your love of Star Wars is closer to "medical condition" rather than "fandom".

I loved this review because, like you, I NEVER watch scary movies and never want to. (Suspense, yes. Gritty violence and fear, NO.). So now, a movie I would NEVER have thought twice about watching, is being considered.

After we finish the Boba and Mandolorian series again.

As much as this sounds fun, I think Predator has gone the way of Marvel for me. I’ve had enough.

Great review. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit but, at various points, I said aloud, "I don't need Predator world building. Stop world building."

Despite it being high on my watchlist, I still haven’t seen it. Many filmmakers try to emulate Star Wars, but their success varies. It seems to hit the mark on most points, all while retaining its own unique identity.
