Oh no! Sorry to hear about the health issues. I haven't had that but I know what it's like to have to go to multiple doctors for an issue trying to figure it out and it's awful.
I haven't been as active on Substack or Medium much, but I always enjoy your writing! These new projects look great! I'll definitely check some out :)
May your health journey continue to go well. You didn’t face disaster, but your body’s warning system signaled you to slow down, and you listened. Congrats on “Extended Cut” and “The Dungeon.” Both seem to result from deep self-reflection, leading to triumph.
I kind of had what you have. They thought it was arteritis-- pain in the back of my eyes, the electric things in my vision. I had a biopsy and was treated with heavy steroids.. I didn't have it, but it cleared up after the steroids.
Good stuff Eric and glad you got positive news. I also spiraled mentally with some health scare stuff last year. Not fun but fortunate when it turns out well. Here's to a great 2026.
I'm about to rebrand my Substack and wanted to revisit what you presented when you did yours. It's good stuff. I've also wanted to move everything I do to Ghost, but the $348/yr price and $89 for the right theme make it hard to pull the trigger.
Pill organizers... health scares... why didn't they warn us about this stuff?!
Jokes aside, I'm glad you're in a (relatively) good spot right now, and hope the good news keeps comin'!
Extended Cut is an awesome name, BTW...
Immensely glad you're feeling better after your clash with the one of the "four horsemen of getting old". :)

Hi Victoria! Always nice to see familiar faces pop up again. :)
Hey! Hope you get better. Might try to do the lifetime sub at some point. And really love the title of the Rebranded Newsletter!
Thanks Mikhail!

I don't know about triumph yet, but appreciate all the positive vibes! :)
This is a lot. Not sure I am signed up for everything.
I was paid on all the Fanfare. So... whatever.
I am in a funk today and not ready to deal with anything.
No worries Linda, your account is still all good!
PS. So glad you are better.

Interesting! Glad you're feeling better. Head stuff is no fun.
Welcome back! Love the updates.
Sorry about the head issues, but glad it’s not a tooma. (they are no fun, trust me)
Sorry to hear you've dealt with tumors! Just the thought was terrifying.
I sent people an Arnold gif saying "it's not a tumor" when I realized it wasn't that. 😁
We said that a lot in my house with mine, well, without the “not” 🤣
I hope you can get all sorted out soon, and that you feel better knowing it's not the worst-case scenario.
Thanks Sara!!
Love all this good stuff!

Hope you're doing okay Clay!
