Your D&D Bday tradition sounds off. the. rails. and YOU are officially living the dream. That is honestly one of the coolest things I've come across in a long time. I don't have the gaming background for Last of Us (my husband played it and has agreed with other players that the show is crushing the adaptation), but I am very onboard. Especially after this past episode, which I watched barely breathing going "Please don't hurt Nick Offerman, please please please.." And being from the Boston area, all the location mocking was VERY deserved and highly enjoyable.
They expanded Bill's storyline from the game and knocked it out of the park. Ep 3 was one of the most hauntingly beautiful things I have ever seen. Still thinking about it.
SAME! I had read something about that. I think it was done absolutely beautifully and so satisfying. Nick Offerman has been one of my favorite actors for a long, long time and this brief role proves his tremendous chops. Chef's kiss!
Super jealous of your birthday D&D tradition! That sounds like an amazing way to celebrate.
The awesome thing about being an adult is nobody can tell you no! You should totally do this with your group. It is the best tradition. :D

It’s 4 degrees up here, so I spent the day getting into Calypso & steel drum music.
